    Ex:John strained his eyes by reading too much small print.

     

    2. strait(n.):a narrow passage of water connecting two large bodies of water

    Ex:It is dangerous to cross the straits in such weather.

     

    3. stature(n.):the height of a human or animal body

    Ex:The giraffe's stature can be a disadvantage as well-it is difficult and dangerous for a giraffe to drink at a water hole.

     

    4. feedback(n.):a reaction or response to a particular process or activity
